Swim
Swim at the Sergeant Bluff Pool. Our facility includes a pool with a slide, lap lanes and more. We have a full concession stand and grassy spots for sunbathing.
Pioneer Valley Days
Pioneer Valley Days is hosted every year. The event is usually the second weekend in August. Games and activities are available during the fun and exciting weekend.

Public Library
Visit the Sergeant Bluff Public Library, located in the Community Center. The Library offers audiobooks and ebooks to download and enjoy as a part of WILBOR consortium. The Sergeant Bluff Public Library is one of 115 libraries in western, central, and southern Iowa that participate in WILBOR.

Pickleball
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport for Adults 55 and over in the US. It’s a cross between badminton, ping pong and tennis. It’s a paddle sport using a wiffle ball. Sergeant Bluff has 7 courts to play on, 5 indoor and 2 outdoor. We currently have over 70 members that play throughout the year. The Sergeant Bluff Community Center where the 5 indoor courts are located offer hours on Mon-Thursday from 9am-12pm, Mon & Wednesday 12-2pm and Friday’s players check weekly with staff (events). If you’re interest in playing stop by and get in a game, to try it out is free. Members pay a yearly fee of $50.00 and get a t-shirt. Winter Festival
The Winter Festival is hosted every year in December, typically the first Sunday. There is chili and cinnamon rolls for everyone to enjoy with a free donation. Kids can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. There is a silent auction, craft, games, raffles, festival of trees and holiday music with local talents.
