Christmas Day should the holiday fall on a weekday, the garbage collection will be a day behind. If the holiday falls on a weekend the garbage collection will not change.
Recycling
The City of Sergeant Bluff contracts with Gill Hauling for recycling services. Recycling is picked up every other Thursday. Stop by City Hall to pick up a complete schedule. A detailed list of acceptable items can be found on our website www.cityofsergeantbluff.com.
All recyclables should be placed in a Gill Hauling approved container. For recycling questions or to obtain a cart please call Gill Hauling at (402) 404-3035
