Fingerprinting
The Sergeant Bluff Police Department provides fingerprinting services to the public. An individual's personal fingerprints remain the single unique way to positively identify someone. As a result, there are varieties of reasons that national, state and local laws and ordinances require the public to be fingerprinted. A few reasons why the public may be fingerprinted are for employment or applications for local licenses or permits. The Sergeant Bluff Police Department does not retain a copy of these fingerprints. Call ahead for an appointment, fingerprinting hours are M-F, 9am-4pm.
