The Senior Center is located at 909 Topaz Drive and is open Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. A reading library, TV room and sitting area is available while visiting the Senior Center. Meals will be served Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11:30am. If you plan to dine with us, please call at least one day in advance; (712) 943-2181 to order a meal. If no one answers, please leave a message with your name and telephone number. The suggested contribution for meal is $3.50-$6.50 per meal for those over 60. Those under 60 wanting to eat will need to pay the full price of the meal $6.50.

The Senior Center will be having Adaptive Aerobics every Tuesday and Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Senior Center. Classes are free of charge.
Senior Center Newsletter
If you would like to receive the Senior Center Newsletter please stop by City Hall or the Sergeant Bluff Community Center to sign up. The newsletter will include information about activities, meals, fundraisers, etc. that will be hosted at the Senior Center each month. If you are unable to stop by please call Gary at (712) 333-1542.
The Srts bus will be available to pick up and transport residents in and around Sergeant Bluff for free, but they must
call at least by 6:00 p.m. the prior day. The SRTS bus hours of operation are Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. It will be $2.00 for Sergeant Bluff Residents to travel to Sioux City and to Dakota Dunes one-way. Please call Siouxland Regional Transit System (712) 279-6919 to make your reservation.
Vouchers available for Siouxland Seniors for Farmers Market Purchases
Each Senior meeting eligibility guidelines will receive 10 vouchers for a total value of $30 to be used to purchase fresh, Iowa grown produce and honey. There is a limited supply of vouchers, available on a first come- first serve basis.
To be eligible for the checks, seniors must be:
- Age 60 or older on the day they pick up vouchers
- Have a gross yearly household income of no more than $21,978 ($1,831/month) for an individual or $29,637 ($2,469.75/month) for a married couple.
- Live in Ida, Cherokee, Monona, Plymouth or Woodbury counties
- Applications are limited to one per person or married couple.
